Marlena McEachron, PsyD

Dr. Marlena McEachron is a licensed clinical psychologist with expertise in anxiety, depression, trauma, and dissociative disorders. She earned her PsyD in clinical psychology from the American School of Professional Psychology at Washington, D.C., and is EMDRIA-trained in EMDR therapy. Known for combining clinical expertise with authentic warmth, Dr. McEachron founded Northstar Center to offer a therapeutic space that is both compassionate and evidence-based. Her approach is rooted in science and shaped by a trauma-informed, relational framework that guides her work in both therapy and psychological assessment.

With over a decade of experience across all levels of care, Dr. McEachron has worked with children, adolescents, and adults facing challenges ranging from situational stress to complex trauma and dissociation. In addition to her clinical work, she has supervised doctoral interns in an APA-accredited program, taught graduate psychology students, and provided training in areas such as trauma, multicultural competence, and mindfulness. Her leadership at Northstar Center reflects both her commitment to rigorous, evidence-based treatment and her dedication to mentoring the next generation of clinicians.
